Cannabidiol (CBD) Physicochemical Stability and Shelf-life
The sample separation rates were measured with the LUMiSizer at 21C. You can see from the Cannabidiol (CBD) oil that the stability and shelf-life are very different for each sample.
There is no rhyme or reason for the difference. The differences are neither a function of CBD concentration nor of the added flavor. All samples were purchases at the same time and had the same shelf-life expiration date.
Yet the CBD 1000 mg Citrus sample failed after a little over a month. Whereas the 2000 mg CBD product of the same citrus series exceeds the stamped shelf-life by years.
It is impossible to discern why there are such wide differences but it is most likely due to poor manufacturing control. For the customer, it means that the product quality will fluctuate widely from lot to lot.
